On Monday, August 26, 2024, the Roberts Wesleyan University Convocation Ceremony marked the beginning of the academic year and was highlighted by a keynote address delivered by Dr. Josef Sykora, Dean of the School of Theology and Northeastern Seminary.
In his address, titled Prisoners of Hope, Dr. Sykora reflected on the themes of transitions and new beginnings, drawing inspiration from Zechariah 9:11-12. Speaking to the gathered undergraduate students, faculty, and staff, he emphasized the importance of hope and resilience in the face of contemporary world events.
