To walk with Jesus is to walk with a slow, unhurried pace. Hurry is the death of prayer and only impedes and spoils our work. It never advances it.

Orchestrate Our Desires to Harmonize with Yours
As we sit here together, God is present,
Breathing life into us and into everyone around us...
For a few moments, let’s sit silently,
and become aware of God’s loving presence.
(pause for 1-2 minutes)
Lord: Everything has the potential to draw forth from us a fuller love and life. Yet our desires are often fixed, caught, on illusions of fulfillment. We ask, Oh God, that in concert with our freedom, you will orchestrate our desires in a vibrant, loving, melody, rich in harmony with God’s will.
Amen.
