We live, in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and private: and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship.

Below are some ways you can participate in The Lent Journey with the Northeastern Seminary & Roberts Wesleyan Community.

Active Reflection
Take Action
Set aside a day to fast from the distractions of television, leaving behind the flicker of screens and the pull of endless entertainment. In the quiet of your home, allow the stillness to invite a deeper connection to God. Let the absence of noise create space for prayer, reflection, and a renewed sense of peace. As you step away from the glowing screen, allow your heart to grow closer to the Father, listening more intently for God's voice. This day of fasting becomes a sacred pause, where time with God fills the space once occupied by the world’s distractions.
